A major influence in my life has always been water... Ever since I was a young boy I have been attracted to the it and the fun I could have, whether it be summers on the beach, fly-fishing, salt-water ocean fishing or just relaxing on the coast. There are few better places for someone like me to grow up than on Long Island. These natural surroundings were my first and enduring inspiration.

I spent my college years on another island;  Mount Desert Island, Maine. I started developing my passion for photography and capturing my environment at College of The Atlantic studying under Mr. George DeWofle, a student of Ansel Adams. I enjoy shooting landscapes with golden light. When I completed my study under Mr. DeWolfe we became friends, he’s passed down to me his camera and laptop to begin my journey into photography. Once I completed my degree in Human Ecology I returned to Long Island to begin shooting along the North Shore, specifically West Meadow Beach, a favorite childhood summer spot. I’m drawn to dramatic light, reflection and interesting shapes.

Right now I work together with my brother Ben at Ben’s Garden. We have two retail stores, one in Oyster Bay and Huntington NY. I currently work  in the Brooklyn Production location which has an artist studio space where the art and objects for the stores are crafted. I make all the artwork from scratch, we produce for the retail stores and wholesale businesses who sell to other stores all over the country. I work with Ben throughout the entire business including project installations, sales, product design and finishing, window displays, arranging store vignettes, and travel to trade show exhibits across the country.
